Everything a skeptical artist wants to know before signing up.
What’s the difference between the plans?
Essentials ($8/mo, $77/yr) — 40 reels/month, stock footage only, weekly calendar recommendations, in-app reel library with download links, and email support.
Growth ($10/mo, $96/yr) — 40 reels/month, your own footage + photos in 7.5 GB per-song libraries, platform optimization across IG / TikTok / YT Shorts, priority email, and live webinars.
Premium ($15/mo, $144/yr) — 80 reels/month, 2× the output, location discovery + the Shoot Day Planner, 15 GB per-song uploads, 1:1 video strategy calls, and the Zoom artist community.
Free Trial — 7 days of Growth features (10 reels, 7.5 GB per song, platform optimization) with watermarked reels. Card required up front; auto-upgrades to Premium ($15/mo) on day 8 unless you cancel.
How does signup work?
Four quick steps:
- Email + password — nothing else.
- Pick a plan — trial, Essentials, Growth, or Premium.
- Stripe Checkout — card on file (yes, even for trial).
- Inside the app — set your genre, upload a focus song, and mark the clips you want the batch to pull from.
Does the free trial require a credit card?
Yes — we capture a card during Stripe Checkout, but we don’t charge you for the first 7 days. On day 8 the trial rolls into Premium ($15/mo) automatically. Cancel any time before then from your account and you owe nothing. We do this so the transition is one click instead of a second checkout, and so the trial isn’t abused by bots.
How many reels do I actually get per week?
~10 reels per week on Essentials and Growth (40/mo cap), and ~20 per week on Premium (80/mo cap). Mix and ratios are determined by the templates you toggle on the Brand page — we honor it exactly.
What platforms does ArtistOps post to?
We render for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts and show a genre-aware weekly calendar with recommended posting windows. Posting is still manual today. Finished reels land in your in-app reels library with one-click downloads.
Can I customize how the reels are cut?
Yes. The Brand page has 4 cut-style modes — None (single take, no cuts), Minimal (a couple cuts on the chorus), Beat Drop (cuts pinned to detected song beats), and Sizzle (rapid montage, capped at 12 cuts to keep it readable). Each mode can be paired with a transition style (fade, slide, iris, light flash, glitch, zoom punch, spin) — the system only lets you pick combinations that actually look good (e.g. fade is locked out of Sizzle). Changes apply on the next Saturday 10 PM run.
What if I cancel mid-month?
Cancel any time from your account. Your plan runs through the current billing cycle. Before access ends, download any reels you want to keep from your in-app reels library.
Who owns the reels you deliver?
You do. Every deliverable — reels, carousels, cover art, and other generated media — is yours to post, license, monetize, or delete. ArtistOps is a pipeline, not a publisher.
How fast is the turnaround?
Upload your song any time during the week. For artists with an active account, reels enabled, a focus song, and marked clips, the scheduler runs every Saturday at 10 PM. A full 20-reel batch usually finishes in about 2–3 hours on the render cluster, and failed reels are retried automatically at the end. You can also trigger an ad-hoc run from the app whenever you need one.
Can I bring my own footage, or do you shoot?
You bring the raw takes — phone video works great. Growth and Premium let you drag video and photos into per-song content folders, capped at 7.5 GB per song on Growth and 15 GB on Premium, and the pipeline only pulls from that song’s library. ArtistOps handles the cutting, color, and crop. On Premium we also unlock location discovery plus the Shoot Day Planner for planning the next shoot.
What equipment do I need?
A phone. That’s it. If you have a DSLR or mirrorless you’re further ahead, but our pipeline is tuned for phone footage first — that’s what Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YT Shorts reward.
Is there a real human behind the platform?
Yes — every plan includes email support. Growth and Premium unlock 1:1 video strategy calls, live webinars, and the Zoom artist community. Curated software runs the pipeline; a real team runs the service.
What happens to my content if I cancel?
Deleting a song inside the app moves it to Trash for 60 days, with one-click restore during that window. The song’s content folder stays intact until you permanently delete it or let the 60-day retention expire. Finished reels can be downloaded from the app at any time.
Is my payment info safe?
Yes. Card details never touch our servers — payment is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). We only store a Stripe customer ID and subscription status. Update or remove your card any time from your account settings.
