Data deletion
You can remove ArtistOps' access to a connected platform and ask us to delete its data without cancelling your ArtistOps subscription.
Disconnect in ArtistOps
Sign in, open Account > Social accounts, find the connected channel, and choose Disconnect. This stops ArtistOps from using that connection to publish or retrieve data. YouTube connect requires an active plan and is available on accounts with publishing enabled. Disconnect and data deletion remain available even when publishing is disabled or your Terms/Privacy acceptance needs updating. TikTok connections and private video tests are available to eligible artists. The Instagram and Facebook instructions below apply when those integrations become available, with no announced release dates.
Remove permission at the platform
- Instagram: in the Instagram app, open Settings and activity > Website permissions > Apps and websites, select ArtistOps, and remove its access.
- Facebook: open Settings > Business integrations, select ArtistOps, and remove it. Check Apps and websites as well if you granted access there.
- TikTok: open Settings and privacy > Security & permissions > Manage app permissions, select ArtistOps, and remove access.
- Google/YouTube: open Google's third-party app permissions, select ArtistOps, and remove its access. You can also use Google Account permissions.
Menu names may vary by device. Removing access at a platform revokes permission to use its API. If you also want to tell us directly, use the email below; you do not need to reconnect an account to request deletion.
Request deletion by email
Email [email protected] with the subject ArtistOps data deletion. Include your ArtistOps account email, the platform, and the channel or account name. State whether you want to delete that platform's data or your entire ArtistOps account. We may verify that the request comes from the account owner using your account email; do not send passwords or tokens.
What we delete and when
Platform tokens and data received from Google/YouTube, Instagram/Facebook and TikTok are deleted within 7 calendar days of disconnect, revocation at the platform, a definitive, non-retryable refresh-token grant failure, account deletion, a deletion request, or the subscription ending. This covers access and refresh tokens, Page tokens, connected account/channel identifiers and profiles, cached video and playlist data, statistics and analytics, creator settings, and published-post IDs, permalinks and status records received from the platforms. It includes derived platform data. Platform tokens and data are excluded from routine backups. Older backups containing platform data are purged of that data within 7 days.
Daily and weekly backup rotations do not extend that deadline. Any backup containing affected platform data must be purged of that data within the same 7 calendar days. A tool failure preserves the archive and is escalated for operator attention; it never authorizes keeping platform data beyond the deadline. Deleted connections and tokens must not be restored from older backups.
Disconnecting does not delete videos or posts already on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok. Manage or delete those in the platform itself. It also does not delete the songs and source footage you uploaded directly to ArtistOps or finished files you downloaded.
We retain private test attempt counts to enforce usage limits across reconnects. These records contain only an ArtistOps account reference and an attempt time, without videos, captions, TikTok account identifiers or posting results.
After your subscription ends, your account drops to a free account with Essentials-level limits indefinitely. This free account includes 6 generation credits per week, 3 GB of source storage, and access to your retained library, editing and downloads at Essentials-level limits. YouTube publishing requires an active plan and publishing enabled on your account. Non-platform content is kept until you delete it or request account deletion by email. Account deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Cancelling leaves paid access and connections available until period end; the subscription ending starts the platform-data deletion deadline. Records needed for billing or legal obligations may be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy; they do not extend the platform-data deadline.
